Great article. I agree with many of your points, however when you mention that writers shouldn't sacrifice your authenticity, I'm not sure if I relate. I was always told to write to the audience because that's more important than authenticity. As I mature as a person and as a writer, I realize that this is true. It's great to be authentic, but it's much better to produce content that people want to see and read. I like to try to fit my content into a box that houses my own authenticity/writing style, a great message and a relatable voice to the intended audience. When you can do this as a writer, you'll find that you just produced a much better article for everyone involved.
